Kirtipur, November 19, 2025 — The Sudurpaschim Royals produced a remarkable comeback to claim a convincing 29-run victory over the Kathmandu Gorkhas in a key Nepal Premier League (NPL) clash at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

After being invited to bat first, the Royals faced early trouble as their top order—which included international star Chris Lynn—fell cheaply to disciplined bowling from the Gorkhas. With four wickets down inside the powerplay, Sudurpaschim were left reeling and in desperate need of stability.

That stability arrived in spectacular fashion through Harmeet Singh, who launched a fearless counter-attack to turn the momentum. The hard-hitting all-rounder smashed 53 off just 19 balls, an innings featuring two boundaries and six towering sixes. His explosive knock single-handedly lifted the Royals to a competitive 147 all out, with the innings ending on the final ball of the 20th over.
