Barcelona Defeat Real Madrid to Win Spanish Super Cup Title
Barcelona took the lead in the 36th minute through Raphinha, who finished clinically to put his side ahead. However, Vinícius Júnior equalized for Real Madrid during first-half stoppage time.
Just moments later, Robert Lewandowski restored Barcelona’s lead, but Real Madrid responded quickly as Gonzalo García scored to level the match at 2–2 before halftime.
The decisive moment came in the 73rd minute, when Raphinha scored his second goal of the night, sealing the victory for Barcelona. Despite several late chances from both teams, no further goals were scored.
Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong was shown a red card during injury time, but it did not affect the final outcome.

Under head coach Hansi Flick, Barcelona continue to show impressive form. Along with their Super Cup triumph, the Catalan giants are also performing strongly in La Liga, where they currently sit at the top of the table.
