RSP’s Sobita Gautam Takes Massive Lead in Chitwan-3
Chitwan – Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Sobita Gautam has taken a commanding lead in Chitwan Constituency-3 in the ongoing House of Representatives Election 2082.
According to the latest vote count, Gautam has secured 17,851 votes, placing her far ahead of other candidates and strengthening her position in the race.
In second place is Nepali Communist Party (NCP) candidate Renu Dahal, who has received 8,037 votes so far. Gautam currently holds more than double the vote count of her closest rival, indicating a strong performance in the constituency.
Meanwhile, Nepali Congress candidate Tek Prasad Gurung has secured 2,139 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Shankar Thapaliya has received 2,007 votes in the ongoing tally.
The significant gap between Sobita Gautam and the other candidates highlights the growing influence of the Rastriya Swatantra Party in Chitwan, a district that has drawn national attention during the election.
Vote counting is still ongoing, and more updates are expected as the remaining ballots are counted. However, the current figures show Sobita Gautam maintaining a dominant lead in the constituency.
