Google Removes Government's AI Training Registration Form Over Policy Violation

Google has removed the registration Google Form for the government's free AI and prompt engineering training program targeting 2,000 young people in Nepal, citing a policy violation.

Google has removed the Google Form used for registration in the government's free artificial intelligence (AI) training program, citing a policy violation.

The development comes after the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security announced a free online AI and prompt engineering training initiative targeting 2,000 young people across Nepal.

The program, titled “AI with Effective Prompt Engineering,” was designed to introduce participants to practical applications of artificial intelligence tools, including ChatGPT and Claude.

Google Form Removed Following Policy Violation

The registration form, which had been shared with interested applicants to collect applications for the training, is no longer available following Google's action.

Google reportedly removed the form after identifying a violation of its policies. However, the specific policy involved and the exact reason behind the removal have not been publicly established.

The removal has raised questions about the registration process, particularly for young people who were interested in participating in the free training program.

Government's Free AI Training Program

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security had planned to provide free online AI training to 2,000 participants in collaboration with ING Group and Gyan Bazar Online Pvt. Ltd., through the National Academy of Vocational Training.

The two-day training program was scheduled for November 4 and 5, 2026, with four separate sessions. Each session was expected to accommodate 500 participants.

The training was intended to cover effective prompt writing, AI-assisted email and document creation, presentation development, AI-generated images and videos, responsible AI use, and verification of AI-generated information.

What Happens Next?

With the registration form removed, interested applicants may need to wait for further clarification or an alternative registration method from the concerned authorities.

The Ministry of Labour and the National Academy of Vocational Training are expected to provide further information regarding the application process and the status of the planned training program.

Young people interested in the initiative should follow official announcements from the Ministry and the Academy for updates.
