Nepal Set to Host ICC League-2 Tri-Series at TU Cricket Ground

Nepal will host two ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League-2 tri-series from April to May, featuring Oman, UAE, USA, and Scotland.

Nepal is set to host the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League-2 tri-series during April and May, bringing exciting international cricket action to the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.

 

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has officially announced the schedule through a press statement, confirming that two separate tri-series will be आयोजित in Kathmandu.

 

The first tri-series will feature Nepal, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates, and will be played from April 25 to May 5. Nepal will look to take full advantage of home conditions as they face strong competition from both Oman and the UAE.

 

Following this, the second tri-series will take place from May 12 to May 22, where Nepal will compete against the United States and Scotland. Both series will be held at the TU International Cricket Ground, the home venue for Nepal’s international matches.

 

These League-2 fixtures are crucial for Nepal’s journey toward qualification for the ICC Cricket World Cup, making each match highly significant. With valuable points at stake, the upcoming series are expected to be intensely competitive.
