The Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season 2 Final turned into a historic occasion as Lumbini Lions produced one of the most dominant performances ever seen in an NPL final. Cricket fans across the country witnessed records being broken and unforgettable moments that defined the grand finale.

Batting first, Sudurpaschim Royals were under constant pressure from Lumbini’s disciplined bowling attack and were restricted to just 85 runs. This total is now the lowest score ever recorded in an NPL final.

Lumbini Lions captain Rohit Paudel played a crucial role with the ball, claiming a sensational hat-trick that completely dismantled the Royals’ batting order. His leadership and composure proved decisive in the biggest match of the season.

In reply, Lumbini Lions wasted no time in chasing down the target. The team reached the total in just 9 overs, registering one of the fastest chases in NPL final history.

Opening batter Dinesh Adhikari set the tone with a breathtaking knock of 42 runs off only 13 balls. His innings included four massive sixes in the opening over, effectively sealing the match within minutes.
