ANFA Women’s League Kicks Off in Kathmandu from Chaitra 4

The Martyr’s Memorial ANFA Women’s League organized by All Nepal Football Association is all set to begin in Kathmandu from Chaitra 4.

According to ANFA, the tournament will run until Baisakh 12 and all matches will be played at Chyasal Ground in Lalitpur. The league will follow a single round-robin format, where each team will face every other team once.

Nine Teams Ready for Competition

A total of nine teams will participate in this year’s league:

• APF Football Club

• Bagmati Youth Club

• Church Boys United

• Jhapa FC

• New Road Team (NRT)

• Nepal Police Club

• RS Resort and Beach Football

• Sankata Club

• Tribhuvan Army FC

All participating teams have said they are well-prepared and confident of delivering strong performances in the competition.

Teams Confident Ahead of Opening

During a pre-match press conference held at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato, coaches and team captains shared their thoughts ahead of the tournament.

They stated that players are fully ready and motivated, with teams aiming to start strongly and put pressure on opponents from the very first match.

The league is expected to be competitive, with each team fighting for valuable points in every game.

The league will begin with exciting matches on the opening day:

• New Road Team vs Sankata Club

• Tribhuvan Army FC vs Jhapa FC
