Nepal SBI Bank Wins Four International Awards at Emerging Asia Banking Awards 2026

Nepal SBI Bank Limited (NSBL) has received four prestigious international awards at the Emerging Asia Banking Awards 2026, recognising the bank's strong performance across multiple areas of banking and financial services.

The awards were presented by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) during the Fourth Emerging Asia Banking Awards 2026 ceremony held in New Delhi, India.

Nepal SBI Bank was recognised in four major categories, highlighting its performance in supporting businesses, maintaining asset quality, strengthening profitability and delivering overall commercial banking services.

The bank received the 'Best Bank in MSME Acceleration' award for its contribution to accelerating the growth and development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The recognition highlights the bank's role in supporting businesses and expanding access to financial services for the MSME sector.

The bank was also honoured with the 'Best Performance on Asset Quality' award, recognising its performance in maintaining the quality of its assets and managing credit-related risks.

In addition, Nepal SBI Bank received awards for 'Best Performance on Profitability' and 'Best Commercial Bank', further recognising its overall financial performance and contribution to the banking sector.

The awards were received by Vikas Anand, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Nepal SBI Bank, and Netra Khatiwada, Chief of Finance and Planning, during the ceremony in New Delhi.

The recognition comes as an important achievement for Nepal SBI Bank, highlighting its growing presence and performance in the regional banking landscape.
