1. Sloth
If you’re wondering which animal sleeps the most, sloths top the list. They sleep 8 to 10 hours a day and spend most of their lives hanging upside down from trees. Sloths only move when necessary, making them one of the slowest and laziest creatures on Earth.
2. Koala
Koalas are another champion sleepers. They can sleep for up to 18 hours a day, mastering the art of doing almost nothing. By resting most of the time, they conserve energy and survive on a low-calorie diet of eucalyptus leaves.
3. Lion
Even the king of the jungle can be lazy. Lions spend up to 20 hours a day resting to conserve energy for hunting, which can be risky and exhausting.

In the underwater world, nurse sharks are the perfect example of laziness. These nocturnal predators spend the day resting on the ocean floor and only move at night to hunt.
