Bipin Acharya Takes Strong Lead in Dang-2, Shankar Pokhrel Trails
In Dang Constituency-2, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader and joint general secretary Bipin Kumar Acharya has established a significant lead in the ongoing vote count. According to the latest tally, Acharya has secured 2,429 votes out of 3,915 votes counted so far, putting him far ahead of his competitors.
CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel, a prominent national leader, is trailing behind with 583 votes. The large gap between the two candidates has drawn attention as counting continues in the constituency.
Meanwhile, Kiran Kishor Ghimire of the Nepali Congress has received 387 votes, placing him third in the race. Similarly, Nirmal Acharya of the Nepal Communist Party has secured 213 votes so far.
The early vote count suggests a strong performance by the Rastriya Swatantra Party in Dang-2, with Bipin Kumar Acharya maintaining a comfortable lead over other major contenders. Political observers note that if the current trend continues, it could mark a significant victory for RSP in the constituency and reflect shifting voter preferences in the region.
Vote counting is still ongoing, and the final result will depend on the remaining ballots yet to be counted.
