Shram Sanskriti Party Candidate Leads Early in Dhanukuta
In Dhanukuta, the only constituency in the district, Shram Sanskriti Party candidate Sanbahadur Rai has taken an early lead in the ongoing House of Representatives Election 2082. According to the latest official results released by the Chief Election Officer, Rai has secured 1,590 votes.
Trailing behind, CPN-UML candidate Rajendra Kumar Rai has received 1,040 votes, while Nepali Congress candidate Dinesh Rai has obtained 734 votes. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Dinesh Bhandari has gathered 144 votes so far.
Vote counting has been completed for wards 1 to 5 of Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality, where 4,060 votes have been counted. Of these, 3,722 votes were valid, and 338 were invalid.
Dhanukuta has a total of 118,425 registered voters, and so far 64,425 votes have been cast. The results show a strong early performance for the Shram Sanskriti Party, indicating significant support in the constituency.
As vote counting continues across remaining areas, the lead could shift, but current trends highlight Sanbahadur Rai’s strong early advantage.
