Sankata FC Starts Strong with 4-0 Win in Martyr’s Memorial National Women’s League

Sankata FC began the Martyr’s Memorial National Women’s League with a 4-0 victory over New Road Team, showcasing a strong start to their campaign at Chyasal Ground, Lalitpur.

Sankata FC kicked off their Martyr’s Memorial National Women’s League campaign with an impressive 4-0 victory over New Road Team at Chyasal Ground in Lalitpur on Wednesday. The goals for Sankata FC came from Yashoda Shahi, Sukriya Mia, Lucia Leila, and Akosua Amankwah, giving the team a confident start in the tournament.

 

Organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the Women’s League will run until Baisakh 12 and features ten teams: APF Football Club, Bagmati Youth Club, Church Boys United, Jhapa FC, New Road Team, Nepal Police Club, RS Resort and Beach Football, Sankata FC, and Tribhuvan Army FC. ANFA confirmed that the league matches will be played on a single round-robin format, ensuring each team competes against all others.
