Tottenham Lose 2-1 at Fulham as Relegation Fears Deepen
London, March 1, 2026 – Tottenham’s relegation worries intensified as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at Fulham, marking their fourth consecutive Premier League loss. The defeat also represents Spurs’ second under interim head coach Igor Tudor.
Tudor switched to a back four for this London derby, but Spurs went behind after just seven minutes. Harry Wilson scored for Fulham for the 10th time this season, capitalizing on Tottenham’s defensive frailties. Spurs were furious when a push by Raúl Jiménez on Radu Dragusin went unpunished.
Fulham doubled their advantage in the 34th minute through a long-range strike from former Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi, leaving Tottenham with a steep uphill battle.
Spurs substitute Richarlison pulled one back after 65 minutes, but a late rally failed to prevent their winless run from extending to a record-equalling 10 Premier League matches. Tottenham remain 16th in the table, just four points above the relegation zone.
