East Bengal Held to Goalless Draw by APF in SAFF Club Women’s Championship

Kathmandu: India’s East Bengal were held to a goalless draw by Nepal’s Armed Police Force (APF) in the final group-stage match of the SAFF Club Women’s Championship on Wednesday. The match was played at Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu.

Both teams created chances but failed to break the deadlock, ending the contest 0–0. With this result, the group stage concluded, and East Bengal finished top of the table, securing their place in the final of the tournament. APF, meanwhile, wrapped up their group campaign with a disciplined defensive performance.

The SAFF Club Women’s Championship has showcased strong competition among South Asian clubs, and the final is expected to be a closely contested encounter as teams vie for the regional title.
