Nepal Petrol Price Highest in South Asia 2026 | Fuel Price Comparison

Nepal has become the country with the highest petrol price in South Asia, surpassing all neighboring nations and raising concerns over rising living costs and inflation.

Nepal has recorded the highest petrol price among South Asian countries, making fuel significantly more expensive for consumers compared to neighboring nations. This rise in price is becoming a growing concern for daily commuters, businesses, and the overall economy.

Here’s a comparison of petrol prices across South Asia:

Nepal: 219
Pakistan: 194
Sri Lanka: 187
Bhutan: 157
India: 157
Maldives: 153
Afghanistan: 140
Bangladesh: 140

With Nepal topping the list, the increasing fuel cost may impact transportation, goods pricing, and inflation. Citizens and experts alike are closely watching how this situation develops and whether any policy changes will follow.
