Trump Orders US Navy Action Near Strait of Hormuz Amid Rising Tensions with Iran

US President Donald Trump has ordered a naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz amid rising tensions with Iran, sparking global concerns over energy security.

US President Donald Trump has announced that he has instructed the US Navy to take action near the Strait of Hormuz amid growing tensions with Iran. He shared this statement through a post on his social media platform, Truth Social.

According to his message, some progress was made during recent talks, but both sides failed to reach an agreement on the key issue of Iran’s nuclear program. He accused Iran of creating instability in the region and raising security risks in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important oil shipping routes.

Trump also claimed that ships which have paid fees to Iran may be stopped in international waters. He further stated that operations could be carried out to remove or destroy any mines that are reportedly placed in the sea lanes.

He warned that any attacks on US or allied vessels would lead to a strong response. He added that the situation would be closely monitored and strict action could begin soon.

The Strait of Hormuz is a critical passage for global oil transport, and any military tension in the area could seriously affect international trade and energy supply worldwide.
