Ravi Lamichhane Wins Chitwan-2 for the Third Time with Huge Margin

Chitwan, Falgun 23: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Ravi Lamichhane has been elected from Chitwan Constituency-2 for the third time.

Lamichhane secured 54,402 votes to win the seat. His closest rival, Nepali Congress candidate Meena Kharel, received 14,564 votes, trailing Lamichhane by a massive 39,468 vote margin.

Similarly, CPN-UML candidate Asmin Ghimire received 6,992 votes, while Nepali Communist Party candidate Pratap Gurung secured 4,969 votes.

In the constituency, a total of 87,028 valid votes were cast, while 2,796 votes were declared invalid.

Lamichhane had previously won elections from the same constituency in the 2079 and 2080 by-elections, making this his third consecutive victory from Chitwan-2.
