Amaresh Kumar Singh Leads Early as Gagan Thapa Trails in Sarlahi-4

RSP candidate Amaresh Kumar Singh leads the early vote count in Sarlahi-4 with 1,239 votes, while Nepali Congress leader Gagan Kumar Thapa follows with 768 votes as counting continues.

In the early vote count of Sarlahi Constituency-4, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Amaresh Kumar Singh has taken the lead over Nepali Congress leader Gagan Kumar Thapa.

According to the initial vote tally, Amaresh Kumar Singh has secured 1,239 votes, while Gagan Kumar Thapa has received 768 votes, placing him in second position so far.

Other candidates in the constituency are also trailing behind in the early count. Rakesh Mishra of the Janamat Party has received 250 votes, while Amanish Kumar Yadav of CPN-UML has secured 199 votes. Similarly, Dr. Rajnish Rai of the Nepal Communist Party has received 18 votes, and Rameshwar Rai Yadav of the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) has obtained 2 votes.

Although vote counting began at 10:00 AM, this is the first official release of preliminary vote results from the constituency.

The vote counting process is currently taking place at Shree Beni Bhola Namuna Secondary School in Godaita, where election officials continue to tally ballots. As counting progresses, further updates are expected regarding the changing positions of candidates in the race.
