RSP Leads in 5 of 6 Morang Constituencies, Shram Sanskriti Party Ahead in One

Rastriya Swatantra Party leads in five of six Morang constituencies, with Shram Sanskriti Party ahead in Morang-3. Vote counting continues with RSP showing strong performance across the region.

In the ongoing House of Representatives elections in Morang, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has taken the lead in five out of six constituencies, while the Shram Sanskriti Party leads in one constituency. Vote counting is still underway across all six areas.

Morang-6: RSP candidate Rubina Acharya leads with 3,423 votes out of 5,734 counted, followed by Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala with 728 votes and CPN-UML candidate Binod Dhakal with 627 votes.
Morang-5: RSP candidate Asha Jhale is ahead with 3,979 votes, followed by Jasapa Nepal candidate Rajkumar Yadav with 1,366 votes, and CPN candidate Shivkumar Mandal with 1,286 votes.
Morang-4: Santosh Rajbanshi of RSP leads with 11,564 votes, while Congress candidate Gururaj Ghimire follows with 2,648 votes.
Morang-3: Shram Sanskriti Party candidate Amir Magar leads early with 554 votes. Nepali Congress’ Sunil Sharma has 336 votes, and RSP’s Ganesh Karki trails with 295 votes.
Morang-2: RSP candidate Krishna Karki leads with 1,167 votes. CPN-UML’s Dilip Kumar Agrawal has 445 votes, and Nepali Congress’ Minendra Prasad Rizal has 367 votes.
Morang-1: RSP candidate Yagya Mani Nyaupane leads with 4,126 votes, while Shram Sanskriti Party’s Shanti Pakhrin follows with 2,814 votes.

These results indicate a strong performance by RSP across Morang, while Shram Sanskriti Party maintains a foothold in Morang-3 and shows competitive strength in Morang-1. Traditional parties like Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN, and Jasapa Nepal are currently trailing in most constituencies.
